She finally decided to investigate it and walked through the large barn door and glanced around at the upper loft. The straw was falling down through the boards but Lisa only seen a chicken walking along a rafter and smiled. She slowly walked up the stairway that lead to Jeb's old apartment. She opened the door and walked inside and walked past the little stove and refrigerator and glanced inside the tiny bedroom where Jeb had slept before her husband left. The bed was messy and Lisa thought that was very unlike Jeb to leave his old apartment in that condition.
