We ended up at one of our favorite pasta places. I ate modestly, saving room for dessert - their homemade cheesecake. Lauren - Mrs. Moore - and I shared it. From the restaurant, we headed to one of the nicer hotels in the city. We parked and then waited in the lobby as Sara conferred with the concierge and the desk staff. She arrived with a keycard, and we headed to the elevator. She swiped the card and hit the button for the top floor. I raised my eyebrows at her. She just grinned back. I worried about how much I was spending - but stopped when she scowled at me.
