Now that something has happened to her, I'll feel guilty for the rest of my life if I abandon her instead of taking care of her." Kelly's attitude hurt her more than it did Nelson; it was like a knife stabbing through her heart. "Nell, go out for a walk and cool down while I go inside to comfort her," she said before turning around and going back into the ward.
