By the time Kendall returned after grabbing some food, she could not distinguish which glass of wine was hers. Since Amelia did not have a sip of hers as well, Kendall simply held one of the glasses and leaned against the chair while her eyes fixated on the reveling guests. Having a glass of wine to indulge in as an observer was surprisingly pleasant. Of course, she took a few peeks at her husband too. However, she would avert her gaze as if she was not looking at him whenever their eyes met by chance. In order to keep herself safe from Dylan's flock of admirers, she would rather not stay by his side on such an occasion.
