Given the tremendous number of people that had come to audition, Jude was constantly calling out numbers outside the door. When he reached seventy-six, he found the number of people in the line wasn’t getting any smaller, and was intimidated by it. Accordingly, he turned around and entered the room to privately discuss a change of tactics with Sawyer. “Sawyer, there’s still a whole lot of people lining up. Perhaps we should increase the number of auditionees per entry, or we might not finish the audition if we only see three at once.” In fact, Sawyer had complete trust in Jude.
