Chapter 23

Ana sat silently without talking to anybody. She didn’t want Nick’s curious eyes following her everywhere to suspect that she was up to something. She decided that this will be a matter that she will handle alone and not even Nick will be able to help her. She planned to sneak out in the middle of night, when Nick is still asleep. She knew she was going to put their good relationship in to jeopardy. All she could think about was her little girl in danger. Other matters will be sought out later. The men in uniform will also get in to trouble but she knew there was no going back.
