Chapter 1 HOLIDAY OVER

HOLIDAY OVER HOLIDAY OVER ***AUTHORESS POV*** It's been two weeks since Athina, the owner of Pepper Eatery went off to Dubai, for a break. She had wanted to clear her mind from work, after all as a female, it isn't easy being the Chairman of a well renowned eatery, as the case maybe or rather, chairwoman. And that two weeks, elapses today, sulking over the fact that she has to come back and take up her responsibilities. She loves her job, but seems like she hasn't gotten someone so competent to run it smoothly, apart from the fact that her personal assistant is doing her very best. She knows handling the job of both personal assistant and CEO, could be so tiresome, as disheartening as it may be, she can't put the poor girl into so much stress. ****ATHINAS' POV*** The blaring sound of my alarm, which is so high pitched woke me up from my slumberous state. I looked up to my mirror, just to find out that my saliva was drizzling down my mouth to my cheek. I was oblivious to the male body laying next to me, I was about pulling the bedsheet from my body, when I noticed a solid male snoring quietly. I remembered, yes, that's the stripper, or will rather say the call boy from last night. Damn!!!, I was mad that he was still around, none of the men I sleep with, forgets to leave my house before I am up. I tugged at him roughly, he wasn't moving, too heavy for me, guess I know what to do. I brought the alarm clock, and set it back to 8am, whereas the time was 7:58am, I had in mind that when it starts ringing am going to put it on top of his ear, since he was laying by his side. Perfect plan, I waited, once it was 8am, the alarm took off with it's blaring sound, it was on his ear though. He woke up with a startled surprise, I mean who won't, when I am awake it's so disturbing, I wondered how it would have been for him that was sleeping. He woke up with a hard on, the first place he looked at was under the bedsheet that was covering him, after looking under the bedsheet, he came up to look at my face. "Hey what's that, look into my face, I am going to have my shower and when am back, I don't want to see you on this fucking bed", he didn't budge from the bed. I turned front, headed to the bathroom, with a sideways glance, I checked to see if he had stood up already, he wasn't standing up. I rapidly turned back to shout at him, only to see him on his feet, wait!!!, he was pointing at his penis. "What's that for, mister, I gave an order and I expect it to be done..." "Shhhh!!, Madam, this is not your office or place of work, where you order people around, let's go back to the bed and finish this", he said stroking his penis. I thought he was just joking, no, he was damn serious, I was going to ignore him. I started walking towards the bathroom when he held my hands, he lifted me up and swung me over his shoulders. I kept yelling at him," keep me down you motherfucker, what are you trying to do, do you want to fucking rape me?, Am definitely going to call the cops on you", I said. With a loud thud, he dropped me on the bed, licked his lips, and grinned evily. "Why do all men like taking me hard, even without my permission, gawd please don't tell me am about to get raped", I thought. He dragged my legs apart, chuckled harshly and tried nudging my thighs apart. Now this is rape, I thought he was all joking, maybe something to make me scared, or trying to prank me. Yesterday night we had met in the club, we were flirting with each other, at a point he had said something about him going to rape me. I had laughed it off, I felt he only said that, due to the fact that he had drunk himself to stupor. Now it came hitting down on me, that rather he wasn't the person drunk but me. "I have to escape", I thought. I remembered the flower vase on the table, yes, I am definitely going to use it, even if it implies, I kill him. He wasn't even interested in what I was doing he was only interested in getting into me. I took the flower vase which was on the table close to the bed, I was about raising it to his head, when his head sprang up. He noticed what I was about doing, he snatched it from my hands and opted to throw it far away from the bed. My instincts took over, I used my knee to hit him on his crotch, he fell off from the bed immediately. I thought that was enough until I saw him trying to stand up, he looked at me and back to the flower vase. My mind quickly interpreted his message, I was determined on reaching the flower vase before him. I ran immediately to the flower vase before he got there, I aimed at his shoulders, I knew if I should aim for his head, he definitely won't survive it. I grabbed it, turned my back and threw it right at him. I smiled smugly,"oh my!!", I exclaimed. The fall wasn't on his shoulders rather at his forehead, I quickly dialed the hotel number. With just a dial, they picked up. "Emergency please, room 432, someone is trying to rape me", I called, knowing if i don't tell them before they find out, they would label me a murderer. It wasn't up to 10minutes, I saw the hotel emergency workers saunter themselves into my room. "Madam, please what happened here", they asked in their rich and deep Dubai accent. "We slept over last night, I woke up this morning to find him taking in some enhancers, I didn't say anything. I was about going in to bath, as my flight takes off today, when this man dragged me over to the bed, and tried forcing himself on me. I tried pleading with him to stop, but it seemed like the enhancer had gotten the best of him. There was nothing I could do to stop him, I was trying to stop him, but he didn't even consider me. He had threatened me, that if I keep shouting and making noise, he's going to kill me. I had chosen life first, but after some seconds, I remembered the impact of how this was going to affect me, both psychologically and emotionally. I was left with no options other than to use the flower vase on him, though I had never planned on using the vase on his head, I had aimed for his shoulders", I said. "Nevermind madam, it wasn't your fault, whereas, we see incidents like this occur, almost every month, and it was just your instincts that took over", one of the emergency managers said. A surge of relief passed through me, that they believed all I said without a single doubt. It's not like I lied, at least just ten percent of what I said were lies. They carried him off to God knows where, I just hurriedly took my bath. "I get to start going, my flight would take off in the next four hours", I mumbled to myself. "Oops am damn late, two hours more, and I don't know how long it would take the Uber to reach the airport", I muttered to myself. I went down the stairs with one of the hoteliers carrying my luggages, I checked out from the hotel with clean hands. I went out of the hotel, "ohhh right on time", the Uber I had ordered was there already, there was no need for any explanations. He knows where I am going to, to the airport, yeah.
