When Susie got home later that evening, she quickly went through the usual ritual of bathing, cooking and serving herself before going over to the living room to watch a movie. She'd been unconsciously expecting her young lover to pay her a visit, but by 8pm, she knew he would not come at all for the day. She was used to being alone in her house which was big enough for an entire family, but today, she was feeling a bit lonely. She wondered if her affair with Ben had made her dependent on male company, but she sincerely hoped not! If there was one thing she valued above all else, it was her freedom and independence. Eventually, she kicked those thoughts out of her mind and concentrated on the movie while munching after-meal snacks. But she'd hardly been in this position for a quarter of an hour when she heard the familiar knock on her back door. She knew immediately that it was Ben. She dropped everything and went over to let him in.
