Chapter 44 My Arrogant Step-son(2)

Today I sit at the breakfast table across from Mark, he is looking at his phone. I pretend to peel some potatoes close to him. Right now the grandmother is still in the guest room, but she would be back soon and then I'd have to behave myself. So, I drop a potato on the floor and bend over at ninety degrees to pick it up, to see if at least that will distract him from his phone, and out of the corner of my eye I see that Mark is following my movement with his eyes.
