Chapter 41 Between The Mafias - The One With The Doctor Visit

We arrived at Leonardo's place hours later. His wound had been attended to by his doctor. Despite his condition, the man made sure that I was okay. He had one of his house staff to escort me back to my room as he regrouped with his men. I felt terrible, but I managed to clean myself and change my clothes. He must've seen the light under my door cause it was past midnight when Leonardo knocked on my door. He was checking up on me by bringing me a cup of tea. Well, it was his house staff who carried the tray of hot tea and a jar of cookies. He simply instructed the younger woman to place the tray on the coffee table as he sat on the sofa and put his phone face-down, and he waited for me to join him in the small seating area.
