"You look like a tomato right now, Farah," Kael said, his voice low and husky. Farah's cheeks blushed deeper, and she felt a wave of embarrassment wash over her. Kael's eyes sparkled with amusement as he found her hands under the water and took them, holding them to his chest. "I would always protect you, Farah, always," he said, his voice filled with conviction.
