Chapter 11 The Full Moon

Kael ran deep into the woods, the rising full moon casting an eerie glow over the trees. Pain shot through his body, a familiar and unwelcome companion. He knew what was coming, and he tried to prepare himself, but it never got any easier. As the moon rose higher in the sky, Kael's body began to change. His eyes turned bright red, and his mouth formed wolf teeth. His fingers transformed slowly and painfully, and he groaned in agony. The full moon was always a torture, a pain with no sweetness.
