Chapter 30 Ex Wife

Mark led Georgia out of the interview room, his hand resting lightly on her back as they walked through the hallway. The heels of her shoes clicked softly on the polished floors, the buzz of the studio already fading behind them. Outside, the sun was still bright, casting a golden glow over the city. The driver was already standing by the car, holding the door open. Georgia smiled politely and slid in first. Mark followed and shut the door with a soft thud.
