Chapter 6 Pain

Chopper went to the bottom of the trench where Eva had been shot down. After searching the whole day, they finally saw a body in a ditch. Harris and Ivan both went down one by one to see the body. As soon as Harris saw the dead body lying on Eva, he fell to the ground with a thud. He gently hugged Eva's body and cried out loudly, "Eva...." A stream of tears flowed from his eyes. Even Evan was shocked to see Harris in such a state. He did not know that Eva ruled Harris's heart. Looking at Eva's body, however, Evan reluctantly blurts out, "Harris, Eva's been shot. Her entire body was riddled with bullet wounds and her torn clothes were visible..." He could not complete his statement beyond this even if he wanted to. After listening to Ivan, Harris regained consciousness and looked closely at Eva's body; there were indeed bullet marks on her body and her clothes were torn in some places. Seeing all this, he angrily told Evan, "I want every single detail of what happened to Eva. Do whatever you want and however you want, but bring me all the details within two days." Saying this, he picked up Eva's body in his arms. Eva's body had begun to rot and stink, but it made no difference to Harris. Seeing Harris, Ivan ordered the chopper to be brought down. However, there was dense forest all around, so the chopper could not descend completely. But they could not even ask Harris to leave Eva's body. They had no idea of Harris's anger. So Evan tied the rope tightly around Harris's body and then asked the bodyguard to pull him up. When Harris reached the top, Ivan followed him into the chopper and the chopper moved towards their secret base. Evan ordered his medical team to prepare to preserve Eva's body, as he knew Harris would not be able to do anything until he could find out what happened to Eva and punish those who did wrong to Eva. Until then, he was not going to cremate Eva's body. After arriving at the base, Evan said to Harris, "Harris, I have asked the team to take care of Eva's body. You hand over Eva's body to them." Harris nodded yes after listening to Evan, but then a thought came to his mind that if the team took care of Eva's body then they would also clean her. And he could not tolerate anyone else looking at Eva except him. He said to Ivan, "Tell the team to prepare for the rest of the things. I will clean Eva and bring her back myself. You arrange new clothes for her." After saying this, he did not wait for anyone to speak and took Eva straight to the bathroom. As soon as Harris left, Ivan and everyone else stood there in shock. Then a doctor said softly to Ivan, "Ivan sir, why is our boss cleaning up that corpse himself?" Hearing his question, Ivan came back to his senses as if someone had dropped a bomb on him. He quickly put his hand on the doctor's mouth and said, "Don't even call Eva a corpse in your dreams. Otherwise, it won't take even a second for you to die. Don't you forget that the person who has just entered is the king of the underworld? That king who does not think even once before killing someone. Now go ahead and start preparing yourself." After listening to Ivan, everyone came back to their senses and got busy with their work. He was inside the bathroom, slowly cleaning Evan's body. While cleaning, his eyes went to the bullet mark on Eva's body. Touching them, he said to Eva, "Whoever has caused you so much pain... I will not spare any of them. I will punish all those who have hurt you. Three months ago I did not have enough time to find out everything about you. If I had known everything at that time, then things wouldn't have been so bad for you and you would have been alive." As soon as he said this, tears started flowing from his eyes again. Just then there was a knock on the bathroom door and Evan's voice came, "Harris, I am leaving clothes for Eva right here at the gate. You take them." Hearing Evan's words, Harris wiped his tears and replied, "Okay, you can go now!" After accepting his advice, Ivan left from there. Harris carefully laid Eva's body down and got up and opened the bathroom door. He picked up Eva's clothes from the gate and closed the door again. After preparing Eva properly, he picked her up in his arms and placed her in the ice chamber. Ivan and all his other subordinates stood there looking at Harris. He couldn't tolerate him in this condition, and he was signaling Ivan to explain something to Harris. It was not at all good for his health for him to remain like that. Seeing everyone nod, Evan softly said, "Harris, everyone else is here, they will take care of Eva now. You should eat something first." After hearing Evan's words, Harris did not even look at him and replied, "Until I find out what happened to Eva and punish her culprits. I will not eat anything till then. You are all going away from here now. I should not see even a single person here." After listening to Harris, everyone quietly left the place. Anyway, his boss was a living devil and he couldn't tease him at all. ***** At the Wooler mansion, Kiara was seen crying while holding a newspaper and saying, "What happened, Eva! Why did you suddenly commit suicide? If I had known earlier that you would take your own life, I would have stopped dad and brother from throwing you out of the house. It is my fault that I could not stop you. It is my fault..." She kept crying again and again while saying this. Her condition could not be seen at all by the mansion's servants. For them, Kiara was like a flower, and she could never hurt anyone's feelings. The same Eva, for them, who always troubled their Kiara baby. For this reason, they were ready to do anything against Eva. None of them could see Kiara in such a condition, and especially not Eva. Everyone was very happy when Eva was thrown out of the mansion. They quickly informed Mr. Wooler about Kiara's condition so that he could stop her.
