Chapter 4 Sending To The King's Palace
After saying this, he went straight to his room. He was feeling very strange. So he went straight to his bathroom, which was specially made for him to take a bath.
After he left, the maid who was asked to wake Neha up, threw a bucket full of water at Neha and hit her. Neha, who had fainted due to fatigue, screamed on hearing the water fall, “Flood....flood....flood….run quickly, there is a flood.”
That maid was jealous that their king had brought an unknown girl into his arms. No matter what, all the maids of the palace were trying to get Revan to cast a glance on them so that they could become special to him. But an unknown girl had gone straight into the arms of their king. He could not tolerate this. Seeing Neha's reaction, the maid looked at her in surprise and said, "There is no flood here!"
After listening to the maid, Neha looked at her. Then she saw a bucket of water in her hand. After seeing it, she understood that she had thrown water on her. She cleaned her face and asked the maid, "Why have you thrown water on me?"
Hearing Neha's question, the maid told her arrogantly, "To wake you up! Now get up and clean the whole palace! This is our king's order!"
Hearing the maid's words, Neha said in surprise, "Palace? Cleaning? King? What are you saying? Which palace and king is here?"
While saying this, she remembered that her best friend had tricked her into writing a novel. Now she neither had magic nor the world in which she lived.
She lived in the human world, but there were many magicians among the humans as well, about whom the humans had no knowledge. She, too, was a human, and she too did not know about magicians, until her mother died, and she was left all alone. That was the time when she met her master, who later helped her to become a magician. He had only shown her the path and by following that path she made herself the best among the magicians. But all her years of hard work were ruined in a moment by her own best friend. Her face turned sad as she remembered all this.
Seeing Neha being sad, the maid put a bucket of water in front of her and said, "This is not the time to be sad! Get up and go and clean the whole palace."
Saying this, she went away from there.
Neha's eyes were on the maid who had asked her to clean the place. She said to herself, "Why do I feel that this maid is annoyed with me? But I haven't even said anything to her. Whatever it may be? What do I have to do? Let me first see where I am? This doesn't seem like the place, The one I read about in a novel."
Then she remembered that after coming out of the portal, she was falling straight from the sky to the ground. When she thought that she would not survive now, she fell into someone's arms. As soon as she remembered this, she said, "Oh yes, who was that person in whose arms I fell?! And those deep brown eyes of his..."
Then a thought came to her mind that maybe the maid was so irritated with her because of him. Thinking about this, she said to herself, "But there is no fault of mine in this. Now if she wants to keep getting irritated, then let her keep getting irritated. What does it matter to me? First have I found out where I have reached?"
Saying this, she looked around and said to herself, "This is a castle! But how did I reach here?"
Thinking about this, she scratched her head. She further said, "First, let me go around the whole castle. Only then will I know where I have reached. But how can I go inside the whole palace? What if someone stops me?"
Her eyes fell on the same bucket which the maid had just left for her. Looking at it, she said to herself, "Yes, this is it, isn't it? This will help me."
Saying this, she picked up the bucket and went for a walk in the palace on the pretext of cleaning. She had come quite far while cleaning.
Then some maids' eyes fell on her. Looking at her, they said to themselves, "Isn't this the same girl? Whom the king brought in his arms?"
Hearing this, the other maid said, "Yes, this is the same girl. I don't know who she is. Where has she come from? She came and sat straight on our king's lap?"
While saying this, she showed all her jealousy against Neha. Seeing her say this, the maid whom Revan had asked Neha to clean the whole castle said angrily, "You are right! I don't know who she is. Moreover, I have asked her to clean it? Not to roam around like this? You wait, I will go and tell her!"
Saying this, she was about to go towards Neha when a maid stopped her and said, "Raavi, don't stop her! Let her go!"
Hearing the maid's words, Ravi looked at her and said, "Why are you stopping me, Sara?"
Ravi's question, Sara said to her, "I have an idea?"
Hearing Sara, the other maids asked her, "What idea do you have?"
Hearing the question of all the maids, Sara said to them smilingly, "You all know that the king does not like anyone coming to his palace! If we send this girl to the king's palace, the king will get angry...."
She had not even finished her sentence when one of the maids said to her, "But a king can kill anyone in anger! If this girl goes to his palace, will he kill her?"
Hearing that maid, Sara said to her, "So what difference does it make whether the king kills her or not? Anyway, since she has gone into the king's arms, she deserves to die. You just keep quiet now and don't say anything about this?"
Hearing Sara's words, all the other maids also said to her, "Yes Meera, you should not say anything in this matter. And if you try to say anything to anyone, then next time will you be in that girl's place?"
Hearing their threats, Meera became quiet. She did not have the courage to say anything more to them. But in her heart, she was praying for Neha to be saved.
As soon as Meera became silent, Sara said to the others, "You all distract the guards standing near the king's palace. Till then, I will send that girl to the king's palace! Anyway, the way she is looking at this place! I don't think she knows anything?"
After listening to Sara, everyone nodded and went to distract the guards.
