He rubbed his temple, trying to fight off the headache that threatened to pound its way in.
Nina sat across from him, her fingers drumming lightly on the desk. "You heard the news, right?" she asked, her tone steady but laced with concern. "The investors are ready to pull out of the project. They're not happy with the direction the company's heading. They’re getting cold feet."
