Chapter 3
"Do you think I am a toy of your pleasure?"
"Yes."
"What exists between us? Who are you to me? Who am I to you?" I questioned hastily, weakly bringing his hand on my lips down, flinching to hear what he considered me.
"You are my doll," He mocked, emitting a suppressed laugh before turning back to his food again.
His smirk grew wider, leaning lethally closer to my face, offering me a bite which I hesitantly took. His mysterious actions were disturbing me.
"Or else what name do you have for our baseless bond, Zari? Hmm?"
"Whatever it is, you wouldn't care." I hissed, looking down, eating my food quietly.
"Of course, As long as I attain my pleasure. That's all it matters." He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly.
"That was the main condition of our marriage, Axel broke the alliance and if you want to pay him back for what he did, you shall be enslaved in my domain." He scorned, leaning back, pushing his hair behind temptingly, hitting my sensitive nerves.
"It was all your desires. You placed this condition, you wanted me to marry you. Is it for your pleasure?" I snarled but his amusement faltered.
"No, It is my need." He responded seriously.
His words never fail to trap me in his evil web, "Need?"
"Anyways, There's no way out of it... But I am surprised a weak woman like you is the next leader of Black Reapers." He taunted me, concealing his one second of seriousness back to his mockery.
Pinching my weak points to get a negative reaction and tame me but I won't let it. I bit my lower lip and didn't reply.
After dinner we went to our room to sleep. My heart was pacing abnormally as if it would leap out of my chest, my mind lost in a memorable affliction.
Being alone in a room with him was too much for me. With my weak legs I sat on the chair in the corner, not daring to look around, using my phone.
But when he came out of the bathroom, with nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist, my eyes widened, almost gawking at his glorious body which caused a deep crimson shade to appear on my cheeks.
My heart raced against my chest, my lips dried, flushed by this almighty appearance.
He noticed my gaze and asked, knitting his brows together in confusion, "What?"
"Nothing." I quickly replied, shivering slightly with heat traveling to my cheeks.
"Why are you blushing?" He asked, taking a step closer. I shuddered, curling my toes.
"I.. I.." I tried to speak but couldn't.
"Stop acting like a teenager, I just took your virginity last night, remember?" He asked, a dark smirk coming on his lips as he put his hands on either side of the chair, trapping me in his arms.
"I am still not used to your intimacy." I breathed out, curling myself together as it was futile to compete with his superiority.
"Why? You should be comfortable even without this piece of cloth." He smirked darkly.
Holding the hem of the towel to remove it but I stopped him by holding his wrist. My body turned numbed as a dark reflection shone in his emerald eyes.
"Don't, please." I pleaded with a whisper, swallowing hard by the graveness he created in my body. My breaths became rough, tense.
"Why? I did make you scream my name last night, didn't I?" He teased, biting my earlobe.
Earning a moan from me while releasing his hand free and placing it over my thigh, creating a tension in my lower body on his large hand gripping me.
"N-Nathaniel, please." I shivered ferociously by his hunting gaze.
Losing my senses. My lips parted to speak something but the heat I received by his mere presence was immense. Shaking, my throat dried, looking up at him in hopelessness.
He laughed a little, nuzzling my neck, brushing his lips over my body to show that he owned me.
"Ah, I love those flustered reactions of my doll." He whispered, kissing my neck intensely and moving back, locking his eyes with mine.
"P-Please... g-get away." I stuttered, lowering my scarlet face.
Holding my dress tightly, swallowing the lump in my throat apprehensively. He smirked at my reflex and moved away and wore his clothes.
"How was your day?" He asked in a lively tone, taking a seat beside me.
I passed him a faint smile and replied, "It was f-fine."
"Why are you nervous? I am not suggesting anything." He shrugged, that menacing smirk still plastered on his lips as his hand slowly crept on my shoulder and pulled me closer.
"Unless you want me to."
Right near to feel the heat emerging from his body to mine. His strong hand placed on my shoulder, giving chills to my bone while I couldn't resist those heart throbbing orbs, staring intently at me.
"No, I-I am not." I shuddered, not looking at him.
He closed the distance between us, my rapid beating heart couldn't move, the intensity of his bare action drove me insane.
"Then why are you stealing glances from me?" He asked enticingly.
"I.. I.."
I bit my bottom lips, incapable of speaking further. His grip on my shoulder tightened, the tone changed into a dominant one abruptly.
"Don't you want to marry me?" He growled, making my heart skip a beat. My mouth gaped at his word, heart literally at the verge of bursting.
I looked at him astounded and replied, shaking my head in denial, "No, That's not it."
"Our marriage is nothing but a base for your protection under the Plague Doctor- The Ruler Of Underworld and if you have a lover or problem about this marriage you better forget it now because what's mine, remains mine." He declared seriously, forcing to affixed his gems to mine, forging a connection my fragile heart cannot fathom,
"I am over possessive about my possessions and sweetheart let me tell you this already," He whispered, pulling me into his laps.
I gasped, pressing my palm at his chest, losing my strength at the powerful grip on me.
He cupped my cheek, bringing his face close to mine, declaring huskily, "You are on top of that list."
'I had no idea he would hold this ownership over me and at this point I realize- I fucked up badly!'
His hand moved my hair, pulling my face dangerously closer as his breaths tingled my skin, "You are my wife now, and I won't tolerate a single thing about you."
I shut my eyes, lowering my head. "Please can we avoid an intercourse until we are sure if this marriage is going to last or not?" I asked hurriedly, breathlessly, desperately.
A tear pricked in my eyes as my eyes met his pleadingly, "Please. I am not ready... yet." I whispered, clutching his shirt between my fingers.
"I am surprised at your vulnerability to think it won't last long." He chuckled, sneering at my desperation.
"Then? You don't even like me, you will gladly break this marriage." I paused, not registering his words clearly.
"Ah, you and your fatuous thoughts." He chuckled but before I could ask, he shifted the topic.
"Besides,"
His finger twirled around my locks firmly to restrict my movements and not break eye contact.
"Where were these words when I took your first time?" He asked sternly.
"I.. couldn't do it.. But.. please." I whispered, looking at him expectantly, hoping he would apprehend the delicacy roaming in my mind.
"Don't you love how my single touch sways you?" He asked seductively.
Securing his hand on my thigh again, stiffing my bones by his action. Snaking his fingers down to my spine until he reached the bottom and pressed my harder into his muscular body.
"How easily do I wrap you around my fingers?"
My whole being stopped, an unnerving shiver evoked my core and traveled in my body by his touch. The heat from his body numbed me.
"Hmm?"
I remained silent, leaving with the inability to speak further, knowing how remarkably he could wrap me around his orders.
He smirked and let out a suppressed laugh, removing his hands as I immediately moved back to the couch and moved farthest away from him.
"Fine. But, I won't refrain from touching you, whenever, however I like, understood?" He ordered.
Taking my hand and pulling my back to him as I sniffed, trying not to break and nodded.
"Yes,"
"Good girl." Receiving undesirable allure.
"And a satisfactory fuck once in a while shouldn't hurt, I assure your pleasure." He smirked, taking me to the edge by his exquisiteness,
"Please," I requested.
"Just kidding." He laughed, placing a tender kiss on the back of my palm. I gulped hard and removed my eyes from his.
"It would only satisfy me, I would devour you until 'I' will be done." He scoffed, shrugging his shoulders, leaving me on the verge of breaking by these absurd statements.
"And I won't stop, even if you scream."
His tempting gaze stole my breaths as he whistled in my ears, the notorious sound one regarded as his 'melody of death'.
It was torturing me and he knew it.
"Nathaniel, Don't..." I called his name, praying he would listen.
"Say Please, who knows I might shred some mercy?" He teased me.
"Please."
He smiled, rubbing circles over my shoulder. Expecting me to be relaxed after declaring those mind-bending statements.
"Good, Since my Zari is asking nicely, sure." He hummed, leaning his head back, forcing down my lump under the overwhelm he induced, I curled my lips upward.
"I might teach you some lessons as well to be brave. I honestly didn't expect it. Didn't they call you 'Crazy Zariah?'" He questioned nonchalantly, moving his hand from my shoulder to my hand and moving it back upward gently, forming goosebumps all over my skin.
"Am I not 'Zari' for you?" I mentally cursed myself for asking that.
"Hmm. Fair point. Anyways, leave it. Tell me how was your first day of marriage?" He hummed.
Taking my other hand, stroking the back of my palm with his thumb. His action was tender but it made me tense to wonder about his hidden intentions.
"It was fine..." I replied. He hummed.
"What did you do?" He asked softly,
Tucking a strand of my hair behind my hairs, his affectionate actions alarmed me but he held no intentions of hurting me.
"I.. I went to collect debt from Mr. Bard... On Father's orders." I said the last part slowly, fearing his reaction.
My breath hitched when his jaw clenched in wrath, a hardened expression crept on his face.
"I am sorry but I had to go." I said quickly.
Making a fist with my freezing hands, frightened of his jeering remark but instead of taunting like last night he let out a disappointing sigh and pulled me close to him.
"Why are you so obedient to his commands?" He asked, forcing me to look at him.
"I was brought to be like this." I whispered, a tear dwell in my eye.
"Are you sure, you're his daughter? He used you all this time." He asked.
"Please don't talk like this." I said in stress.
"Okay, I won't. But what about the person you are going to spend your life with?" His grip becomes firm along with a piercing gaze, and cold demeanor.
"Listen, Zariah, You are no longer his puppet, you are my doll now and I don't want any harm to reach my delicate porcelain doll."
"Why are you so possessive about me?" I timidly asked.
He laughed aesthetically yet villainously which stilled my very core, sending coldness to my soul, the heart tangled with his voice, unwillingly, enchanted by his nothingness.
"Why wouldn't I be? You belong to me after all."
