Upon witnessing Renee's series of reactions, Lucius was genuinely amused. He chuckled and said, “I must say that you've got a bit of a conscience left in you. Since your conscience hasn't gone to the dogs, I wouldn't just stand by and watch if someone were to harm you.” At first, Renee was taken aback. She then glanced at Lucius with a complex expression.
