I was shocked; he sounded so upset. Was it because I went to Jerry's show without inviting him? It wasn't my place to do so, but I can't dwell on petty shit. Wait— could it be because I slept in Jerry's bed? Shit, I need to get cleaned up and rush to work and tell him everything. I started running at that thought. Once I reached the apartment, the door swung open, revealing Jerry with his unnerving stare. The last fucking person I wanted to see.
