Chapter 39 Exile

OLEANDER I entered the crowded hall, my gaze sweeping over the assembled pack members. Almost everyone had arrived, and their hushed conversations filled the room with a sense of nervous anticipation. The only ones missing were the two people this meeting was about—the ones about to be exiled—and despite knowing they were annoying us on purpose and wanted one last rise out of us, I couldn't control my irritation.
