Chapter 10 Under Attack

RAYNE “The food was great, Mamma, thank you,” I told my mother before asking if I could be excused. She agreed, and I got up, with Aaron and Vin giving me a knowing look. Aaron wasn’t the only one who liked Vin; my mother and aunt liked him too and had invited him over for dinner. All three of us were about to head to the compound together, and I left them at the table and headed upstairs to take a shower and get ready.
