Dressed in a white shirt and black pants, he was tall and strikingly handsome, his appearance almost unreal. His movements had been swift and ruthless, and there was an undeniable aura of cold detachment around him. As Clifford's wife, Hazel had mingled with the elite circles of Hepham, yet she had never encountered someone like him. Her gaze sharpened as she carefully assessed the man, wary of possibly offending someone with such an imposing presence. Her eyes quickly locked onto a black tattoo on his neck, resembling a symbol she didn't recognize.
