Zevan had encountered all kinds of perfumes before, but none of them had ever appealed to him. Most scents left him repulsed, sometimes even making him feel nauseous. Yet the fragrance surrounding Minerva was different—soothing, pleasant, and unexpectedly pleasing to his senses. Curiosity flickered in Zevan's eyes as he leaned slightly closer to Minerva, his voice lowering to a hushed tone. “What perfume are you wearing?”
