Killian called Gwenn, the best doctor of his pack, and asked her to come to the manor to check Rhea's condition. The Alpha's arrival at the manor with the Omega in his arms drew the gaze of everyone. He took Rhea to her bedroom and laid her down on the bed. Rhea's eyes remained shut, deepening his concern. Gwenn arrived shortly after. "Check her," Killian instructed "Okay Alpha" Gwenn had never witnessed her Alpha in such a state of concern before, and she quickly moved to the bedside where Rhea lay. The news soon reached his mother's attention. Elizabeth, Killian's mother, hurried to Rhea's room to see it for herself. "Killian, what’s going on?" Elizabeth gently took hold of her son's arm. Killian appeared quite anxious regarding the state of the Omega maid he had brought along. Elizabeth cast a quick look at the bed before turning her attention to her son. 'How unusual.' She thought Killian never appeared this concerned; her son had a knack for concealing his emotions. "What happened to her?" "She passed out after being assaulted." "Poor her. How old is she, she looks so young.” Elizabeth remarked, observing Rhea's slightly bruised cheeks. “Gwenn will take care of her, Killian. You have nothing to worry about, Catherine must be waiting for you now, you may back to” But Killian didn't listen to her and strolled out of the room. "Son, where are you going?" Elizabeth reached out to him. "Just to check something, Mom; I'll be back in a moment." Killian called his Beta, Elijah, to ensure who was responsible for this. Killian had no intention of letting that jerk off easy. Shortly after, Catherine arrived downstairs with Killian's cousin, Diego. Before entering Rhea's room, she drew him aside, leaving just the two of them in a secluded corner. "We need to kill that omega," Catherine said to Diego, her expression anxious and her tone firm. "Hold on, what's happening, darling?" Why are you bringing this up to an Omega who is just a maid? She's no threat to us." “That night, she saw us. She knew I cheated on Killian with you. What if she revealed to him what she witnessed? Killian might reject me and he would end your lives, I will not let that happen!" Catherine spoke in a hushed tone, her teeth clenched tightly together. But Diego only laughed softly, gently stroking the cheek of the Luna who had been his secret lover all this time. "Take it easy, Cath. We'll handle that when the moment is right, just trust me." Catherine's expression shifted to a discontented look. "What’s holding you back? Do you also find that Omega pretty? Just like what everyone said?" "Later, darling, but for now, I want to enjoy some time with her first," Diego said, planting a soft kiss on her cheek. He knew that Killian would kill him if he discovered his affair with Catherine. Yet, he couldn't shake off the sense of pride that washed over him when he successfully won over someone cherished by the Alpha and made her choose him instead. He had always envied Killian; being with Catherine feels like a triumph for Diego. ***** Killian walked back into Rhea's room after Gwenn had completed her check on her; Catherine and Diego stood nearby, feigning sorrow over the situation. "Is she okay?" Killian inquired. Gwenn cleared her throat, feeling a touch of hesitancy as she asked, "Does she already have a mate, Alpha?" "We can't say whether she has a mate or not," Catherine replied. "Why do you ask that?" Catherine just wished Gwenn would say that Rhea's condition was bad. "Where's her family?" Gwenn asked again. "She has no family; just adoptive family, but they no longer care for her," Gwenn paused for a moment; at first, she felt compelled to share this with her family. Since Rhea no longer had a family, she decided to inform Killian instead, "The blow to her head knocked her unconscious, but she regained consciousness soon after resting. And the bruises would fade within a few days." Gwenn added, "Alpha, this omega is pregnant." Catherine's hand instinctively rested on her stomach while her gaze fixed sharply on Rhea. That revelation only deepened Catherine's disdain for her. 'Why does she always have what I lack?' Catherine thought. The news of the pregnancy stirred feelings of jealousy within her, especially since a doctor had previously informed her of her infertility and the impossibility of having pups. Everyone shares a puzzled look, taken aback by the revelation. "Oh Moon Goddess, who is the father then?" Elizabeth let out a sigh, her arms folded across her chest. She was not pleased when a maid concealed something like this. "Killian, you need to banish her from the pack!" her voice commanded attention: "She's has lying to us all this time by hiding her pregnancy. Such behavior is unacceptable, and if we don't address it, the other maids may not take it seriously." "Son, I believe your Luna is right," Elizabeth said quietly. Hearing the support from her mother-in-law, Catherine smiled with a sense of satisfaction and remarked, "We need to throw her from the manor and the pack." “Please! Please! Please don't do this, Alpha" Pansy, who was standing among other maids within the room urged, "Where would Rhea go if she was thrown out?" "That's not our concern. This omega has violated Alpha Killian's rule so she has no place in this pack anymore." Catherine said. “No,” Killian interrupted. His eyes remained fixed on Rhea and what happened that night surged back into his mind. That night, he lost himself in a drink. Killian remembers nothing but when Rhea begged and cried not to do it. But he cannot think straight, they have sex and he cum in her. The pill he had given her was meant to stop her pregnancy. Is it possible that the pill was ineffective? Is it possible that this is his baby? He has to find out. Killian said. "This Omega will stay here until the baby is born."
