Once the others left, Lola stood up from her chair and walked over to Dante, one hand resting on his chest. Her confident figure nestled into his embrace as she pouted coquettishly, “Dante, were you upset just now? I care about you, that’s why I was nervous. After all, you’re mine now, but others don’t know that yet…” Dante smiled, his other arm wrapping around Lola’s waist as he gazed down at her through the haze of smoke. His smile was gentle but distant. “Last month, didn’t you tell reporters there was nothing between us? Now you’re saying this, are you pressuring me into marriage? If I marry you now, both of us will be ruined. Remember, my wife just passed away five months ago, I can’t marry you this soon.”
