Chapter 4 Sacred Stone
At this moment, even a fool could tell that Alexander was definitely powerful.
The first guard was so frightened that he did not dare to speak. His face was pale and his forehead was covered in cold sweat.
"Clang!" At this moment, Alexander suddenly exerted strength and actually shattered the long saber made of fine steel.
"Swoosh!" Alexander held a blade and swung it. The blade turned into a stream of light and flew past the throat of the first guard.
A drop of blood dripped from the guard's throat onto the ground.
"For the sake of the entire Wilson family, I'll only cut a layer of skin on your throat this time as a warning. If you dare to provoke me again, the blade will pierce your entire throat." A cold voice came from Alexander's mouth.
He turned around and walked into the Ritual Hall.
The first guard held his throat and trembled. He almost peed his pants because he realized how close to death he was.
Beside him, his companion sighed and said, "The Wilson family is really filled with talents. Even a servant who feeds horses is more powerful than us..."
Meanwhile, in the Ritual Hall, the tablets of the ancestors of the family were placed on a high shelf.
Candles were lit on the surrounding pillars, and the atmosphere was solemn.
Alexander walked in. He did not look at the tablets and only walked towards the inside of the hall.
There was a huge arena inside. At the edge of the arena was a table.
Alexander walked to the table and looked at an old man who was sleeping on the table. He knocked on the table a few times.
The old man mumbled and opened his eyes in complaint, "Who is it? It isn't easy for me to catch a nap."
However, the moment he saw Alexander, the old man suddenly stood up and faced Alexander. He seemed to have discovered something and was very surprised.
The old man reached out his hand and began to feel Alexander's body. He even muttered, "Impossible, this is impossible..."
Alexander had a strange look in his eyes. He quickly took a few steps back and said to the old man, "Sir, is it necessary for you to touch my body in order to verify the fact that I am now in the Physical Realm?"
"That's not it. I'm just curious. You have a special aura on you, and your body is very good." The old man in coarse linen clothes stared at Alexander with his old eyes.
He looked at Alexander and clicked his tongue, making Alexander feel a little scared.
He thought, Does this old man have some weird fetish?
Alexander immediately released his aura of Level one of Phisycal Realm, obtained the identity token of an official member of the Wilson family, and ran out of the Ritual Hall.
When the old man saw Alexander slip away so quickly, he smiled slightly. His pupils bloomed with a bright light, and his tone actually carried a trace of a sigh. He muttered, "You've finally awaken. That's great..."
*****
Alexander hurriedly ran out of the Ritual Hall.
"Dude, wait!" The guard who almost peed his pants just now walked over and fawningly placed a shiny piece of sacred stone into Alexander's hand.
Alexander held the sacred stone in his hand and asked in confusion, "What do you want?"
The guard chuckled and said, "I am sorry that I have offended you just now. This piece of medium-grade sacred stone is worth 100 low-grade sacred stones. I just want to apologize to you."
Alexander felt that it would be a waste not to take it.
He put the shining middle-grade sacred stone into his pocket and walked away.
The guard shouted at Alexander, "Sir, I'll treat you to a meal another day."
"That won't be necessary." Alexander waved his hand.
In the blink of an eye, he had already gone to the Wilson Mansion.
*****
An hour later, in a dilapidated hut at the edge of the Wilson Mansion.
Alexander sat cross-legged with his eyes closed. The mid-grade sacred stone in his hand had already been sucked dry of its spiritual energy.
The golden internal energy in his body had become much stronger.
However, he was still far from reaching Level two of Physical Realm.
Alexander opened his eyes, and a faint golden light flashed in his pupils.
He thought, The path of cultivation is too costly.
Alexander could not help but smile bitterly when he saw sacred stone turn into powder after being sucked dry.
Although the Creation Manual had allowed him to improve his cultivation rapidly, enhance his internal energy, and strengthen his physique, every cultivation session consumed a huge amount of energy.
The spiritual energy contained in a medium-grade sacred stone was enough for an ordinary expert in the Physical Realm to use for more than half a month.
