Chapter 78

Sam read the essay topic ideas that Sally had written down and added a few of her own. They talked quietly for some time about the various topics and narrowed it down to three. One topic that Sally had listed, interestingly enough, was "Lesbianism in Modern Literature". Sam knew that that would shake up the school if it were chosen. The two of them worked for another hour developing an outline for the various topics. The discussion about lesbianism was somewhat tense but nonetheless interesting. However, they skirted around the real issues in an effort to stay professional.
