More driving and she ventured onto a four-lane street for a few blocks, knowing she'd been seen two or three times. She turned left onto a side street and had gone about half a block when the traffic stopped. She leaned her head out the window and could see that they were doing some work in the next intersection, a guy in one of those fluorescent vests directing traffic through the confusion. She moved forward sporadically, one car length at a time. She took advantage of the stoppage by snapping photos of herself, doing her best to include her surroundings.
