Jayson picked up his phone, hesitating before dialing Sophia's number. He knew that dealing with her never came without a price. In her world, everything was a transaction—give and take. Still, he decided to give it a shot. If she demanded something he could handle, he would agree, even if it meant indulging her for a day.
