Chapter 57 Rome

Rome gazed at his sleeping son, marveling at the peaceful expression on his face, oblivious to the world. His son had drifted off after nursing from Phoenix. His eyes briefly flickered to Phoenix's nipples, on the verge of slipping from their son's mouth, before he averted his gaze. Now was not the time for his mind to wander. He knew Phoenix hadn't forgiven him for his past actions. How his son had returned to them remained a mystery, but he was certain it wasn't through Phoenix.
