Chapter 812: Cherry Blossoms in Hakata (3)
The Ming army's cavalry estimated that the Bofu Mountain extended about 20 miles from north to south and about 10 miles from east to west. To the south of Bofu Mountain was an even larger mountain range. The main force of the Ming army, Sheng Yong's army, had about three infantry battalions and 17,800 men. They set out from the coastal camp in the north and marched roughly southward. In the afternoon, they approached the mouth of the valley at the southern foot of Mount Bofu. The march distance that day was about 30 miles.
