Once Sebastian left, the tense aura that filled the dining room slowly dissipated. Cassie let out a long sigh, followed by a brief head shake, as though she were trying to wipe the memory from her mind. Seth grimaced at the dining room entrance, as though he could still see Sebastian standing there. "I meant what I said, Sophia." Cassie smiled softly. "You're more than welcome to live here. It sounds like you don't have anywhere else to go."
