Chapter 19 The Hero

When Torin glanced outside, he saw a small, new model electric car at the crossroads being struck by a truck. The car was sent flying several meters away before it overturned and landed on the roadside. The car's rear was already billowing white smoke and spitting out lengthy bursts of flame every couple of seconds. Inside the vehicle, a long-haired woman was frantically pounding on the window, pleading for help in utter desperation. She was trapped! Moreover, in the back seat, there was a three-year-old little girl who had already fallen unconscious.
