After a short nap, I went down to start dinner. Janet still wasn't home so I called to check on her. She told me that she had talked to Stevie a few minutes ago to let him know she wouldn't be home for another couple of hours. She knew that I hadn't been particularly fond of him so she promised that this would be the only time that she would leave me alone with him for so long.
