Chapter 61-02

I stare at him, waiting for him to make another move and completely forget to check my surroundings again. Out of nowhere, one of his men grabs the back of my neck and starts choking me. I try to pry his fingers off my neck, but he has a tight grip and it doesn't seem like he's going to be letting go anytime soon. I struggle around in his hold while some of the other men start laughing. A flare of anger goes through my body and I grit my teeth and focus on finding a way out of this. When he loosens his grip for a second to laugh with his buddies, I turn my body around before I kick him in the face which causes him to drop me onto the ground as blood starts gushing out of his nose. I start moving away from the guys in case one of them tries to grab me again while gasping for air. I wince at the pain in my throat and start taking smaller breaths. My hands move up to my neck and I start gently massaging it. I swallow my fear and make my decision. I don't have enough time to wait for them to make their moves. If I wait like I did last time, I could be dead in a matter of moments.
