"Oh damn," I said and swiped at the first droplet of rain that fell on my cheek. I supposed that signaled the end of my reminiscing. I got up and started my walk back home. Obviously, every possibility of ending my marriage with Paris had come to an end.
However, the rain picked up and I found myself huddling underneath the shelter, a nearby bus station offered, but even after waiting there for so long, a bus didn't come and the rain refused to stop. I loved the rain, I really did, but mostly when I wasn't outside and caught in it against my own will.
