Chapter 100 - Connection

Sophia's POV I blinked a few times, trying to make sense of something. My head was spinning, and at the same time, I could hear voices in the background, agitated, but I couldn’t understand what was being said. My body ached, especially my chest, there was a weight that felt different, something that made me feel sick. My breathing became labored, and I let out a low groan. I tried to bring my hand to my chest to see if I could remove that weight.
