Chapter 104

[…] The persistent rain and cold wind that had not stopped since the afternoon had Alessandra feeling down. She was in one of the corridors of the hacienda, well covered with warm pajama pants, as well as a thick coat, and still, she felt cold, cold inside. She hugged her belly affectionately, while contemplating the dark night, the storm that raged, as tiny drops wet her face and refreshed her soul. She thought about what she would do from there, how her life would be, and undoubtedly, how much everything would change, however, that didn't matter to her, not having her baby with her.
