Chapter 21

"Why are you so afraid of me, Alessandra? Do you think I will hurt you? Or what's going on?" He wanted to know, captivated by her closeness, by her lips, by her scent, and as always, by her beautiful green eyes. He leaned her against the railing and left her trapped in his arms. Her breath caught in her throat and her nerves exploded even more when the main lights went out, only the lights from the hallway to the rooms managed to illuminate them.
