Chapter 7 Forbidden Moments

The ambience was beautiful, a mix of floral and futuristic, Layla had just highlighted from her Uber and had.tipped the driver.when she noticed how beautiful the atmosphere was. Reina’s niece had a really good taste. Layla was dressed in a pink floral dress that stopped just above her knees, it came with a belt for that extra snatching and her hair was decorated with floral accessories. That was the theme of the party after all. And she had also gotten a gift. It wasn't easy to turn 18. Drink.” She handed the glass over before taking hers and downing it in one go, her face squeezed at the bitterness before it reverted back to normal, “Have you seen Katrina anywhere?” “Not at all. She should be on her way.” Katrina was meant to be her date for the party but she had texted that she would be late as she had something important to take care of. They go on to have small talk and she realizes that her boss was an extremely interesting person. And her accent was more alluring when she was slightly intoxicated. “Have one more Layla.” Reina offered another glass of wine as she was downing her 7th glass but it looked like she was just getting started. It scared her. “Yeah…it's just that—” “I'll kiss you if you drink.” Her eyes were half open in sultriness, the offer had shocked Layla and had gotten her conflicted. She looked at the glass and she looked at the bright red lips of her boss, and then back at the glass. She slowly tilted the cup to her mouth, the content gently pouring into her mouth before it was all empty. And as that happened, Reina leaned forward to kiss her. It felt like heaven on earth, as her lips intertwined with her boss's mouth was buried deep in hers. That was all she remembered, breathing in Reina’s air to survive, begging for more affection as her boss's hands began to play with her mounds. Just as she contemplated leaving the city, Nieve barged into her room to see her all covered and sad. “Girl are you okay?” She called from the door before closing the distance between them. “I think I just fucked up.” “What do you mean?” Nieve sat beside her bestie on her bed, she didn't even know where to begin to explain but it was messing up with her head, “you know you can talk to me.” “I think I slept with my boss.” “You what?!” Niece choked on her spit after her statement, or maybe it was just the shock from what her best friend said. “It wasn't on purpose!” Layla was about to burst Into tears, Nieve saw that and held her hands up, signaling for her to relax. “Were you drunk?” “Yes.” “So you didn't know, problem solved!” Nieve gave her a thumbs up but it didn't make Layla feel any better, “I think your boss wanted it too.” that little statement stuck with Layla for a very long time. It could be true, what if Reina wanted to get her drunk so they could sleep together? But it only proves the rumors that have been circulating in Hedonis.
