“Layla, what happened to you?” Hayley was the first one to noticed she was not okay. She had bags under her eyes and her Afro was no longer well-kept, it was uneven and she looked like she had fought demons all night. She decided not to go to the work the next day after the incident but she was there the day after and she did not look so good, “and your hand!” she also pointed out the fact that has right hand was wrapped in a bandage. She still managed a smile, “it was just a small accident at home, that is why I wasn't around yesterday.” she was getting fantastic at faking the perfect smile, but even Hayley knew that something was wrong.
