Chapter 25 The Ally

Axel turned off the radio, not wanting to disturb Aura who was sound asleep. He drove the car carefully, even slowing down to avoid waking Aura with any bumps. No wonder the car's speed now resembled that of a snail—so slow. Axel repeatedly glanced at Aura's face, her eyes tightly closed. Quite captivated, as they say a woman's true beauty is revealed when they are sleeping or at least when they just wake up, right? And Axel had seen both.
