Chapter 153 Not So Fast

Lydia Rainer managed to sneak me some food from the kitchen, and I’m feeling better after getting some rest. I’m able to walk without feeling nauseous which I can contribute to that fast shifter healing. He also took a dress from the servants’ quarters for me to change into as the heavy velvet gown I’m wearing is going to be difficult to move in, especially if it gets wet in the cave. From how Rainer describes it, it sounds like an obstacle course in the dark, and I need to be able to move unencumbered.
