As Sir Thomas walked away from the prime hall, his expression darkened with a mixture of anger and calculation. He had been played, and he knew it. Diana had been too smooth, too practiced in her deceit. He couldn't shake off the feeling of being manipulated, and it irked him to no end. He quickly hid behind a flowery bush, his eyes fixed on the hall's entrance, waiting for Diana to emerge. When she finally did, his smile turned into a deathly smirk.
