Inside the van, Landon, Nick, and Knox traveled amidst tense silence, surrounded by the darkness of the night concealing the destination of the Cassian brothers, Dorian, and Kane. Each of the mysterious men had a defined role in that shadowy plot. Landon, impatient, sat near the passenger window. He looked at Knox, who was at the wheel, and asked, with a hint of irritation in his voice, “Knox, how much longer until we reach Cheyenne, Wyoming?”
