Chapter 40 What Does This Mean?

Katrina gets out of bed and walks slowly and as if in a trance to the bathroom, which is only a few meters away from her bed. She doesn't hear anything around her except for the beating of her own heart, which feels like it's pressing against her throat. It was a very bad idea to turn on the television. Hearing the news about her disappearance and seeing the hypocritical faces of Jarl and Lizzie crying and suffering because of it only make her more certain of her decision. Once in the bathroom, she closes the door and looks at herself in the mirror.
