Chapter 7 You're Mine

After the conversation between Jarl and Mauricio, Jarl quickly leaves the castle to meet up with his friend Gabriel. Finding that will is his priority now, and he can advise him on what to do. He sends him a message and asks to meet at his apartment. He doesn't want anyone else to hear what they have to talk about, and they won't be interrupted there either. Without giving any more excuses, he goes up to Katrina's room. Katrina startles when a large hand wraps around her waist. She tries to scream, but at that moment another hand covers her mouth and she loses all possibility of reacting. "It's me, my love," Jarl says in her ear. Katrina tenses up upon recognizing her mate's voice. What is Jarl doing here? "We need to talk, Katrina. I want you to come back with me to the mansion." The smell of alcohol reaches the young woman's nose, making her feel instantly nauseous. She tries once again to free herself from Jarl's clutches, but fails. "I won't let go until you listen to what I have to tell you," Katrina denies, crying. "What you saw at Sofisthy is not what you think it is. Your sister seduced me, my love, and you know I can't resist, but that's all, just sex. Nothing else happened, my love, I love you. You can't leave me, you're my mate, you have to be with me for the rest of our lives." At that moment, Jarl flips her over and ends up on top of her in bed. Katrina is terrified, imagining what he might be capable of doing to her. Jarl takes hold of her mouth and kisses her desperately and violently. She does not enjoy it like before. "Let me go!" she gasps, pushing him without accomplishing anything. Jarl is a big man for Katrina's small and slender body. He immediately immobilizes her without giving her any chance to defend herself. "Let me go or I'll scream for everyone to hear!" "I won't," Jarl's voice comes out harsh. Katrina can see his eyes starting to change color and his eyebrows thickening. "I won't let go, because you're mine, and it's time for you to fulfill your duties as a mate." "Please..." Katrina begs, but it's already too late. Jarl tears her nightgown with his nail and takes hold of one of her nipples, sucking with determination. The first and only time they made love was some time after they got married, and the experience was not as good as she had thought. Jarl was quite rough with her, and she was hurt a lot. Katrina did not enjoy it at all and spent a whole week with pain in her intimate areas and lower abdomen after that encounter. Since that day, she only sought ways to prevent her husband from touching her again, and every night, when he lay down beside her, she pretended to be asleep so she wouldn't have to give herself to him. "If you gave me everything I like, I wouldn't feel the need to look at other females," Jarl gasps, in his attempt to make her believe that she is to blame for everything that happened. "A little passion from your part would make me very happy. I'm your husband, and I need to make love to you every day. I need to feel your warm interior, your scent, your moans as you receive me, hear you scream my name as you receive pleasure." Katrina looks at him with watery eyes, having given up the fight a long time ago because she knows that, in part, Jarl is right. They don't seem like newlyweds, they hardly spend any time together, they don't talk or plan anything when it should be the opposite. Jarl quickly takes off his coat and shirt while looking at her with his usual brown eyes, becoming aroused. The same happens with his pants and boxers.
