Mike pretended to be going through some things on the shelf, but once in a while he'll glance at the door, waiting to see if the people after him will come through, but when they were taking so long to show up, he was a bit worried because in order for the plan to work, they must come into the convenience store. When the door to the convenience store opened, Mike instantly looked at the door, he couldn't see the face of his attackers the last time they attacked him, but he was 100% sure that the two men that just walked in were the culprit, they had this dark aura and he wasn't getting a good feeling about them.
