Chapter 57 A Simple Nest

Holding the sharp stone that had just smashed the strange creature, Locke made his way over to a few surrounding rocks. Locke, whose body hadn't recovered and could only sort of walk and stumble, had to have some sort of weapon in his hand; the strange creature had grown perversely one pincer, and the impression it had left on him was still at his arm. Looking around, the only weapon of any kind was the small, sharp rock that had just smashed the creature. In fact, Locke had another weapon, the short dagger hidden in his boot, but Locke wouldn't use it, the strange creature's armor was so hard that he wasn't sure he could cut through it with just a short dagger.
