Chapter 5 Betrayal

MADE FOR THE ALPHA BROTHER. Chapter 5. Authors pov. Sophie ended the call with Lisa and noticed the look on Sebastian’s face. "What? Why are you staring at me that way?" she asked, raising a brow. "When did you get a boyfriend?" he asked in a not-so-stern voice, that Sophie failed to recognize. "Before I left the Pack two years ago.” she replied and for a moment silence fell in. "Why do I know nothing about this boyfriend of yours?" He questioned, dropping his spoon, his face had an unfathomable expression. "You never asked.” she shrugged and continued. “His name is Tommy and he is really sweet, you should meet him soon, you will get along well with him." Sophie replied and shoved a spoonful of pasta into her mouth. Silence fell in again. Then she glanced up at Sebastian and he did not look too pleased. "Are you pissed that I have a boyfriend?" she asked in worry. "No, but the fact that you had a boyfriend for over two years and I am just finding out now..." he placed his hand underneath his jaw and stared at her intently. "What else are you hiding from me?" he questioned and she laughed. "I am not hiding anything from you, don't be weird, brother" She looked back at her food and began eating but for the first few seconds, she could feel his eyes on her. For the rest of the moment they both ate their food in silence. ***************** "This looks great"Sophie looked into the mirror with a smile on her face. She was dressed in a pink gown that stopped way before her knees. For her, it was a little bit short judging by the fact that she never like short dresses at all but Tommy had always told her how much he loved to see her in a short dress and he loved it when his women wore pink dresses revealing their legs. Her hair was packed into a messy bun, though it had a pat at the front. "He is going to love how I look" she beamed at the mirror, let out a deep breath, shrugged and turned away from the mirror. She picked up her small black purse and walked out of the room, rocking the heels she was wearing pretty well. She got to the garage and brought out a car key from her purse. She slipped into the car, revved it into motion and drove off, heading to Tommy's home. The drive was about forty minutes long and by the the time she got there, she was so filled with excitement. She could picture the look on Tommy's face when he would see her today and each time she pictured it, she giggled. She parked the car in front of his modest home and stepped out, giving her hair a flip. She walked towards the door, all smiles and clutching onto her purse. Grinning widely, she knocked on the door repeatedly but there was no answer. The grin on my face soon vanished after she had tired out her knuckles, knocking on the door. Her hands fell on the doorknob and pushed it. The door opened and she was surprised, however, she walked in and shut the door behind her looking around the living room. There was a pink handbag on the sofa but Sophie ignored it, Tommy had a sister, so the handbag could belong to his sister she supposed. She took the hallway that lead to Tommy's room and began walking closer to his room, but as soon as she reached her hand out to grab the doorknob, her ears were greeted with soft giggles of a lady. "Am I that sexy that you keep wanting to have me every hour?" the lady chuckled softly. “You are not just sexy, you are so fucking sweet and I do not mind eating you forever,” Tommy replied in a soft chuckle and pecked her on her cheeks. Sophie’s heart tightened for a minute, she could not believe the words that she had just heard coming from my boyfriend's room. With the smile on her face fading away in a second, she pushed open the door, and there on his bed was Tommy and a girl Sophie could swear she hadn't seen before. Her heart clenched and shattered as she stared at them. Sophie could swear that she felt her world crumbling down in front of her. ‘Tommy has been cheating on me?’ she mumbled within herself. ‘He had probably never taken me seriously. I was probably just a wolfless girl who hid under her brother to him.’ all those words replayed in her head and she felt her heart tighten for another moment. "So... Sophie" he looked shocked to see her and well, she was more than shocked to see him too. "You terrible cheat!" she threw her black purse at him. "I hate you!" she screamed at him as tears threaten to roll out of her eyes. "Sophie, I.... " he got out of the sheets and he was stark naked. Imagining what had been going on before she walked in made the tears roll down her cheeks freely. ‘Here I was, stupidly keeping my body for him and thinking of giving it to him tonight but he wasn't making the same efforts. He did not love me enough to make the same efforts.’ tears rolled out of her eyes as she thought more about this. "You are a monster!" she kicked her heels away from her legs. "Sophie, it is not what you think it is" he tried to walk closer to her and his audacity just made her grow madder and sadder. Ignoring the girl in the room completely, she began raining small punches on Tommy's chest and for a moment, he tried to stop her but when he couldn't get her to stop, he roughly shoved her away causing her to fall on the floor. "What's wrong with you?!" He yelled at her and her tear-filled eyes widened in disbelief. "I cheated on you, so what?!" he yelled again and ran his hands through his hair. "You are not even my mate! You don't even have your wolf side and you think you can come in here, yell at me and punch me?!" he yelled at her. Anger was evident in his eyes. "To... Tommy" her voice cracked as more tears rolled down her cheeks, her chest beating fast against her rib cage. Her heart was hurting like crazy as she stared at the man she had spent over two years of her life loving. "My name sounds dumb coming from you" he huffed. "You are nothing to me, Sophie. You already know now that I don't care about you so how about you just leave?" he pointed at the door. "I... I should leave?" her voice cracked in utter shock and disbelief, her heart pounding and sinking at the same time. "Yes, leave" he groaned and she swallowed a huge lump in her throat. Just then, the door opened and Catherine whom she recognized to be Tommy's sister walked into the room. "What's going on?" she asked but a look around made her understand what was going on. "Your brother... He... He cheated on me, he has been cheating on me.” Sophie cried out, hoping she would be on her side but she was stupid, stupid to forget who she was in the Pack, stupid to forget that without her brother behind her, she was lower than an omega. "And so what? What do you think of yourself?" she laughed scornfully. "Do you really think anyone would want you?" More tears filled her eyes as it was made known to her that because of her selflessness, it was okay for her to be cheated on. "I can't even imagine having to call you my sister in law. Wolves like you should be chased out of the Pack! I am sure you are the cause of the curse of the moon!" she mocked Sophie, whose heart was in two pieces already. She looked from Catherine to Tommy who wasn't saying a thing but glaring hard at her like she was a piece of irritating trash. Sophie looked at the scornful girl who was seated on the bed in the most casual fashion, a huge grin on her face. She was most likely a pack slut but then, even pack sluts got more respect than Sophie could ever get. Tearfully, she stood up from the floor and ran out of the room, her hands covering her mouth as tears rolled out of her eyes freely. She stepped from the house and jumped into my car, tears rolling down her cheek constantly. She leaned her head against the steering wheel of the car and wept. A beep from her phone made her raise her head up and wipe her tears away. It was a message from Lisa asking if she arrived at Tommy’s place safely. The message only pushed Sophie to cry harder and it was even more painful when she remembered Tommy's words then she muttered to herself. “You do not even have a wolf side, You are just a plane looser! you are a plane looser Sophie!” Without thinking further she revved her car to life, driving out at a mad speed. She was going to Dan’s party, perhaps to get wasted!
